A niche perfume is a fragrance far removed from the mass market: high-quality raw materials, original compositions and a distinctive signature. Rather than aiming for broad appeal, niche houses focus on character – a fragrance should evolve on the skin and be unmistakable.

How do I find the right fragrance for me?

Take your time and wear the fragrance for a few days in everyday life. With our 3 ml decants you can discover at leisure how a perfume unfolds on your skin. Many people don’t find their signature scent with the first spray, but after a few days.

Do you offer samples or decants?

Yes. We offer a 3 ml decant of every fragrance in our range, so you can get to know your favourite before committing to a full bottle.

Aswan ist das jüngste Werk des schwedischen Meisterparfumeurs Ibrahim Al-Zoubi, der mit Pana Dora bereits den hohen Norden beduftete. Diesmal blickt er zurück zur Wiege der Zivilisation: Jeder Duft trägt den Namen einer altägyptischen Gottheit und erzählt deren Geschichte. So entstehen Kompositionen, die skandinavische Klarheit mit der glühenden Tiefe des Orients verbinden – wie 'Shu', benannt nach dem Gott der Luft.

Ibrahim Al-Zoubi

Brand Owner & Perfumer

Ibrahim Al-Zoubi is a Syrian-Swedish perfumer and the founder of the niche perfume houses Pana Dora Sweden and Aswan. Born in Syria and living in Sweden since 1988, he combines the opulent fragrance tradition of the Middle East with the clarity and naturalness of Scandinavian perfumery. After more than 30 years in the international fragrance industry, he founded Pana Dora in Emmaboda, Sweden, in 2019. His creations are inspired by Swedish nature, culture and history, and are distinguished by high-quality raw materials, oriental elegance and remarkable depth.
