What is a niche perfume?

A niche perfume is a fragrance far removed from the mass market: high-quality raw materials, original compositions and a distinctive signature. Rather than aiming for broad appeal, niche houses focus on character – a fragrance should evolve on the skin and be unmistakable.

How do I find the right fragrance for me?

Take your time and wear the fragrance for a few days in everyday life. With our 3 ml decants you can discover at leisure how a perfume unfolds on your skin. Many people don’t find their signature scent with the first spray, but after a few days.

Do you offer samples or decants?

Yes. We offer a 3 ml decant of every fragrance in our range, so you can get to know your favourite before committing to a full bottle.

OHTOP

OHTOP ist das Projekt von Romeo Oh, der in Korea geboren wurde und seit Anfang der 1990er-Jahre in Paris lebt. Aus der Mode kommend, gründete er dort einen Showroom zur Förderung junger Designtalente, den Showroom Romeo im Marais. Mit OHTOP lotet er die Verbindung von Mode und Schönheit aus: zunächst mit einer Unisex-Pflegelinie, seit 2023 auch mit Düften, die als 'olfaktorische Garderobe' gedacht sind. Entwickelt werden sie mit Parfumeuren wie Amélie Bourgeois. 'I Hate Rose' entstand, weil Romeo Oh den natürlichen Rosenduft nicht mag – und verwandelt die Rose mit Rhabarber, Paprika und Cashmeran in etwas Neues; 'Ohsphalte' spielt mit Beton, Wildleder und trockenen Hölzern.

Romeo Oh wurde in Korea geboren und lebt seit Anfang der 1990er-Jahre in Paris. Er arbeitete in der Modebranche und gründete den Showroom Romeo im Marais, der jungen Modetalenten eine Bühne bietet. Mit OHTOP schuf er eine Marke an der Schnittstelle von Mode und Schönheit, zunächst mit Unisex-Pflegeprodukten, später mit einer Duftkollektion, deren kreative Richtung er vorgibt.

Amélie Bourgeois

Parfumeurin

Amélie Bourgeois ist eine französische Parfumeurin. Sieben Jahre arbeitete sie beim Pariser Duftstudio Cinquième Sens, bevor sie gemeinsam mit Anne-Sophie Behaghel das unabhängige Kreationsstudio FLAIR gründete. Sie hat unter anderem für BDK Parfums und Obvious komponiert. Für OHTOP schuf sie 'I Hate Rose'.
